When you've gone over something AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN like I have, certain questions get answered, OTHERS SPRING UP! You mind plays tricks on you, YOU PLAY TRICKS BACK! It's like you're unraveling a big cable-knit sweater that someone keeps on knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting and knitting..."

How about a little more detail on how you're trying to do it with the pictures? For example, I host mine myself on the server that hosts my website. Then I link to them from my blogger blog.

Are you using a free photo hosting service of some kind?

I'm sure that if you gave a little more procedural information about what you're trying to do, then your loyal readers, eager to see your fabulous knit creations, would rush to your assistance.

It just takes a little troubleshooting, thats all.

Come on folks, lets help out here!

OK, here goes. I just posted a sample photo using Hello. It seems like Hello and Picasa are two different programs. I did not use the Picasa program at all for this.

1] I downloaded Hello and created a username and password for it.

2] double click on the Hello shortcut on my desktop [I'm on Windows XP by the way. This may not work on Mac, I'm not sure.] and log in to Hell[o]

3] at the top, under the main pull-down menus, there are two tabs: Friends, and BloggerBot. Click on Blogger Bot

4] Now it looks just like the Blogger log in page. Log in. Now Blogger Bot knows how to find your blog to send the pictures there.

5] Just under the 'Friends' tab near the top is a button for 'send pictures' Click that button.

6] Now you get a pop-up asking you to Locate Pictures Using: "Try Picasa Its Free!" or "Use Explorer" I chose Explorer.

7] Navigate around your computer and pick a picture to upload. Select Blogger bot as the so-called Friend that you are going to send it to. Click O.K. or Send or whatever it is that moves you on from here.

8] Now type in the lower right hand corner some caption for the photo. Then click Publish. If you were logged into the blog properly in the earlier step then it should upload.

My guess is that the logging-in to the blog through Hello is where you are getting tripped up.

Well, I just learned a few things in the process of figuring that out. That was fun.

You're probably working off a Mac and all of the above is meaningless.

BTW, I looked all over the Knitty site and can't find the thong anywhere. Is it hidden somewhere? Now I feel like a retard.

Bless you, tres, for helping him out. We've been wanting to see pics of Mark, Daisy, and Mark's knitting for 40-50 years now.

I use a Mac, so my way of posting pictures is totally different (I have to use flickr) and I dunno what to suggest.

So while I can't help, do please imagine me jumping up and down and cheering you both on. (Imaginary pom-poms optional.)

I can't find the thong either...

One more thing: when you get the photos into the Blogger Bot in Hello, are you typing a caption in the lower right hand window and clicking on the Publish button?

I just tried again and forgot this step, and it took me a while to figure out why the pictures weren't going to the blog.
